Abstract

Generasi Z atau iGeneration berkaitan dengan kemampuan mereka dalam menggunakan dan memanfaatkan teknologi. Selama masa hidupnya, orang-orang di usia ini tidak hanya mengalami banyak perubahan dalam hidupnya. Tujuan dari tinjauan literatur ini adalah untuk mengeksplorasi gaya hidup Generasi Z dalam konteks tingkat stres, kualitas tidur dan perilaku makan serta dampaknya terhadap status gizi mereka. Tinjauan literatur ini menggunakan literatur eksplorasi non-sistematis yang dilakukan dengan menggunakan platform basis data elektronik seperti Google Scholar, Pubmed/Medline, dan Google. Kata kunci seperti generasi Z, remaja, stres, kualitas tidur, perilaku makan, dan status gizi beserta sinonimnya digunakan untuk pencarian melalui metode pencarian Boolean. Kajian literatur menunjukkan bahwa Generasi Z di Indonesia memiliki prevalensi kelebihan berat badan dan obesitas yang meningkat. Generasi Z yang saat ini berusia remaja dan mahasiswa mengatasi stres dengan makan secara tidak terkendali karena dipengaruhi oleh emosi dan hal ini jika terjadi terus menerus akan mempengaruhi status gizi. Selain itu, status gizi juga dapat dipengaruhi secara langsung oleh ritme sirkadian tubuh (kualitas tidur) dan melalui perantara perilaku makan. Kualitas tidur yang menurun berhubungan dengan penurunan kadar leptin dan peningkatan kadar ghrelin, yang meningkatkan nafsu makan. Kualitas tidur, stres, dan perilaku makan semuanya berhubungan dengan status gizi pada Generasi Z, baik melalui perantara perilaku makan, maupun secara langsung. Gaya hidup Generasi Z harus menjadi perhatian karena mereka berisiko lebih tinggi terkena PTM saat dewasa.
